Associate Pastor of English Ministry

We are seeking an Associate Pastor for our English speaking ministry to serve alongside our Associate Pastor for our Chinese speaking ministry.  Located in the Renton Highlands area, we are uniquely situated to serve families and individuals in Renton, Kent, southern Bellevue, and other parts of South King County.  Over the last few years, we have been trying to grow youth and young family ministries.  Our current three primary needs are:

Preaching:  As the English congregation pastor, he needs to preach God’s word by seeking God’s will for His people, encouraging them to follow God’s commandments and live a life modeled after Jesus Christ.

Teaching:  He teaches Sunday School and leads a small group to help the members grow and understand God’s word deeply.  He should train teachers and leaders to teach different classes/groups, and prepare the congregation to grow.

Build up the leadership / core team:  He should help the core team members grow, support them as they serve, and to shepherd the leadership team as they serve families, early careerists, international students, college, youth, and children.
